The Beginning Of Obsession

While my “normal” childhood friends would sit and smash their Matchbox cars together…I was in the other corner sorting, categorizing, and organizing them. Yeah, it started early.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder. I’ll spare you the details, but how that tends to manifest itself is by me taking on way too much, and certainly the weight of that can be crippling at times. But shortly after this discovery I was speaking with my therapist who told me something that would change my life forever. She told me to “get out of my own head”. Simple concept, but extremely challenging for someone like me. I had to realize that it was time to let others in. That the more I disappeared into the garage by myself, the more intense my disorder would become. Enter obsessedgarage.com. That was my solution, and I’ve never looked back.

How It Became What It Is Today

When I started modifying my cars more seriously, I scoured the internet for a source of focused, specific information that provided a weirdly intense amount of detail for the subject I wanted to know more about. I couldn’t find what I was looking for…so I just created it.. Over time, what started with a blog turned into a YouTube channel, which then turned into the international brand that Obsessed Garage is today. Deciding to let people like you into my story and share what's going on in my crazy world has changed my life forever. Hopefully this place can do the same for you.

Today, Obsessed Garage ships hundreds of orders worth thousands of dollars daily. Obsessed Garage offers products ranging from detailing supplies to pressure washers, tools, equipment, and so much more. Our organization includes 20+ people and three buildings full of products. We fulfill 95% of the orders we receive right here at OGHQ. We continue to chase the next great product and push the boundaries of what is possible inside the garage.
